Sugar, Spice, and Everything...Apocalyptic?

The world of Sweetaria was once shared by ordinary humans and gifted beings known as Sweets. In the name of equality, humanity developed a drug that could turn anyone into Sugarz (artificial Sweets). 

Eventually, nations began to fight over control of the Sugar Springs, the source of the drug. Wars broke out, the world fell into ruin, and countless lives were lost across the land. Amid this chaos, an even greater tragedy struck humankind - the appearance of a new species of creature that devours humans, the Nom Noms. 

In response to this threat, the nations reluctantly formed an alliance once more. However, they faced a shocking truth. The Nom Noms were actually Sugarz who had passed away and mutated as a side effect of the drug. 

Now you play as the protagonist, a descendent of the drug’s original developers, and join forces with the Sweets of the Sugar Lab, a specialized research team. Together, you all begin investigating the Nom Noms, in hopes of finding a way to heal your fallen comrades.

Sweets, Parfaits & Pâtissiers: What Sets Them Apart from Each Other 

So, you just opened Sugar Conflict, and they are already throwing around different nicknames for people. What could these terms mean for us? Well there is no time like the future, so let’s break down a few concepts! 

Sweets and Parfaits are girls blessed by the Sugar God, and possess extraordinary physical abilities and magical powers. Only girls are typically born as Sweets, and their strength is overwhelming that the number of Sweets a country has directly influenced its national power. 

Among the Sweets, those rare girls who can manifest Espers from their own spirit are known as Parfaits. However, compared to ordinary Sweets, Parfaits tend to have lower combat ability and face limitations on their abilities, such as requiring a special item called Liberation Juice to summon their Espers. 

Lastly, there are the Pâtissiers! This is where you come in as an extremely rare male Sweet who has the unique power to restore Nom Noms back into Sweets. You play a vital role along the way in helping restore humanity, so get out there and do what makes you special! 

Oh, and don’t forget to increase your team numbers by heading over to the multiple different Gachas available to start summoning up your first SSR Sweet or Parfait today.

Gachas Galore: A Sweet Summoning! 

Feeling lucky? Maybe the odds are in your favor when it comes to your next stop in Sugar Conflict! But before you start planning your tactical strategies on the battlefield, we will need to bolster our numbers. So, head over to the Gachas section on the main page to start! 

From there you will be given a smorgasbord of options when it comes to summoning delectable cuties. Such as limited time event Gachas for OP characters like Peach Parfait or Shortcake which are part of a wedding event going on currently! Hoard as many Sugar Crystals as you can during Quests to obtain one of these out of this world beauties like Macaron or Melon Parfait if you are looking to capitalize on a specific elemental type, such as Green. Or if you have tickets, head over to the SR or Higher Guaranteed Gacha to trade tickets for yummier girls! Plus, Sugar Conflict has over 200 unique characters to unlock and explore, each one sweeter than the last ;) 

With so many ways to summon up babes, you will have a bevy of beautiful women added to your harem soon enough. The real fun begins though once you have added a few gals to your unit and have lavished them in upgrades!

Sweeten Up Your Team for Battle

As the de facto leader of your group, you will need to spend some time equipping and training your babes. Of course, Sugar Conflict makes it not only easy, but incredibly fun to upgrade and raise your girls to sweeter heights! Now, let’s get ready to add some members to our Units. 

From the main screen, tap the Units icon. This is the screen where you can organize your party and equip your characters. Each party can include up to five Sweets and three Parfaits, as well as be equipped with a number of different armor and accessories. You can quickly choose the best formation as well as the best well balanced members and their matching equipment by selecting Recommended Equipment as well as Recommended Members. Plus, with the option to add a Friend to your party, you can increase your overall team strength in a pinch against certain levels that might prove a challenge to beat. 

Pro tip: all Sweets have level limits. Once a character reaches their max, you will need to perform a Limit Break to raise the cap. To do this, collect either Sugar X or character Crystals for that specific Sweet and use them from the Training screen. You can obtain these Crystals by pulling characters you already have at gachas, by exchanging for them at the Trading Post, or by receiving them as rewards during events. Next, is the Awakening tab, which increases a character’s base stats, collect Awakening resources through Patrols to break that character’s limit as well. 

Lastly, upgrade Active Skills and Passive Skills with different resources like bowls of rice or sake depending on the character. This process differs slightly for Parfaits though, so pay attention to what they need in particular to raise their levels! 

Don’t forget to equip your girls as well, because a well dressed team can be the difference between winning and losing. And don’t worry about duplicates, because they only make your armor stronger when you use the refinement system to level up the grade of any item as long as you have the necessary resources.

Between those juicy Sugar Conflict Main Quests and limited-time Event Quests, you will want to sneak over to the Training Grounds, the perfect place to grind out some sweet essentials. Think of it as your girls’ personal glow-up zone! Here, you will score everything from Dolce (the good stuff for leveling), to Parfait upgrades and equipment, plus those oh-so-precious gifts you will need to earn Affection Points later. Just keep in mind, each level has a daily limit,  so set up some auto-grind, sit back, and let the loot roll in while your girls do the heavy lifting!

Feeling a bit daring? Head over to Challenge Battles, where you can give your elemental teams a serious boost! We’re talking White, Red, Blue, Green, and Black affinities. You will need Battle Tickets to get in (Rookie or Elite), which you can snag during regular quests or by checking out the Trading Post. But if you are hungry for the really exclusive gear, stuff you won’t find anywhere else, the Tower is calling. Every floor cranks up the difficulty, so make sure your squad’s ready to climb…and maybe sweat a little.

Need a break from the frontlines? Send your girls out on Patrols! You will assign one lovely lady per stage and let her strut her stuff out in the world while collecting goodies like Character Crystals, Patrol Coins, and Awakening Resources. The longer she’s out, the better the haul. Plus, here’s a hot tip: the faster the girl (yep, check those Speed stats), the more she will bring back. Unlock more patrol areas by progressing through the Main Quests, and soon enough, you will have an army of cuties multitasking while you focus on the fun stuff!

To uncover these memories, you will need to raise their Affection levels. The most effective way to do this is through thoughtful gift-giving. From bouquets and plushies to diamonds and...more adventurous options like vibrators, you can offer gifts via the Training screen or the Archive.

However, not every gift hits the mark. Each girl has her own tastes and preferences, so take the time to explore their profiles. A well-matched gift earns significantly more Affection, so doing a little homework can go a long way before spending your hard-earned resources.
