Platformer Sex Games

One of the most popular and prolific genres, platformer games place players in control of a character that has to go through a stage facing a variety of obstacles and collecting rewards. These games are often broken down by a variety of stages, with each often presenting a different overall gameplay or aesthetic theme. In order to complete stages, players often have to simply arrive alive at the end of them, although some games may require players to complete small objectives along the way, such as killing enemies or collecting items. Different from RPGs and Visual Novels, narrative elements are often secondary to these games.

Platformers are Action focused games, and are characterized by the stages themselves being an important component of the gameplay, rather than an afterthought. Enemies and items are often placed at predetermined positions, acting as puzzles that challenge players to figure out how to proceed in order to defeat and collect them. Players are also commonly required to do precise movement through different elements of the stage, such as platforms (hence the name of the genre), in order to reach the end of the stage alive.

While most retro platformer games were side-scrollers, nowadays these games can be found in both 2D and 3D. Platformers also influenced a variety of other genres, with games from Action Adventure to RPG and Racing incorporating many of the characteristic elements found in these games.
