Nutaku-tan has a new friend!

Late last year, we asked everyone what type of animal they would like to see accompany Nutaku-tan on her many adventures! We started with a very VERY long list of potential cute critters and had our amazing social followers vote on their faves. The list covered a large variety of cute pets, ranging from a pug to a goat, a llama, a sloth, a capybara, and even a unicorn.

But regardless of how wide the original list was, four creatures stood out above all after the initial round of voting: Shiba Inu, Octopus, Cat, and Bunny. Due to the closeness of their numbers, we decided to incorporate another round of voting; after all, we had to ensure we were selecting the favored character.

After the double voting process, the Cat reigned supreme! But the popular vote did not end there. We once again went back to you guys, our amazing players, to get your take on the final design. For this round, we presented four different styles of cats, each unique in its own way, before the final design was set in stone. The people spoke, and style number 2 had an overwhelming amount of votes, no contest!

Now that it’s all settled, we are beyond excited to present to you Nutaku-tan’s new friend… Everyone, say hello to CAT (yeah… we’re still working on the name)!
