Game Review - UNITIA

“What’s a you-ni-tee-uh?” you might be wondering. (That’s okay – we were too!)

See, UNITIA is a sexy game with a serious JRPG plot, and it leads with that in the titling. DMM’s latest takes place after a cataclysmic event which sees two worlds colliding with one another, and as you might expect, that doesn’t go over too smoothly with any of the people from those worlds. In this newly-formed “Cross World,” all the living creatures from both worlds are forced together, and from this, the fledgling world is driven into chaos from the ensuing conflicts.

Ruine and Makha, two inhabitants of the Cross World, are enlisted by enigmatic oracle Terra to form the Rainbow Survey Team. With Terra’s help, players will take the Survey Team across sprawling, unfamiliar horizons to discover the secrets held beyond. Braving monsters and forming new bonds along the way, will they uncover the mysteries behind the great cataclysm?

Well, we’re not sure yet – UNITIA is a long game! It’s got that classic JRPG length, where you’ll go through multiple rising and falling actions spread across different arcs that piece together the full narrative tapestry. This isn’t a game you play just to see some sex scenes, or grind out (or on) your favorite anime girl. Sure, there’s plenty of that here, but if you button through the dialogue just to get to the “good” stuff, well, you’ll be missing out on plenty of other good stuff! If you’re looking for a high-quality mobile JRPG, hentai or no, UNITIA fits that bill.

The combat helps here, too, as it’s simple and straightforward. Battles are mostly automatic, but the challenge is surviving long enough to charge your special attacks, which are totally in your hands. While there are more automated options at your disposal, the balance between automatic actions and tactical strikes is a nice one, and provides a decent bit of variety compared to other titles on the market.

And of course, this being a DMM game, there is plenty of top-notch hentai to dig into. UNITIA features shiny, soft anime girls with cheeks so rosy, you can’t help but want to pinch them! These certified cuties are designed and drawn by some Japan’s top hentai artists, and you can really see the love that went into each one. Whether you’re into the blonde and flirtatious Mia, or the shy librarian type Marcelle, you’re absolutely going to find a girl to love here. Not only that, but the sex scenes themselves are wildly creative, and go way beyond simple hookups. Spoiler alert: tentacles are definitely involved. We’ll say no more.

UNITIA is equal parts professional, big-budget mobile JRPG and sizzling hot hentai extravaganza. If you want a compelling fantasy yarn with twists, turns, and the occasional blowjob, you’re absolutely going to love this one. UNITIA is already a huge hit in Japan, and we’re thrilled to debut it on Nutaku.
